   Queens College School for Math, Science, and Technology, a 2014 National Blue Ribbon School, located at 148-20 Reeves Avenue, Flushing, New York 11367, is a PreK-8 New York City public school. The school occupies a building on the Queens College campus. We are now accepting lottery applications for the 2015-2016 school year for Pre-k students and, if seats are available and students meet promotional criteria for the selected grade, for grades 1 to 6. Kindergarten admissions is through the DOE application process.

   Queens College School for Math, Science, and Technology, PS/IS 499, is a partnership of families, educators, and the Queens College community. Innovative curricula and teaching methods are explored here and College faculty, undergraduates, and graduate students are found in the classrooms, observing or participating in instruction.

   Busing is provided based on the guidelines of the NYCDOE Office of Pupil Transportation (OPT) for grades Kindergarten through 6.

   We invite you to become a part of this exciting education community. Our school is open to all children residing in the Borough of Queens.

   Online application submission begins : Monday, March 16, 2015
   Last day to submit application(s) online is: Friday, April 24, 2015 by 3:00 PM

   The selection process for grades 1 - 6 will take place late April; families will be notified in late May.
   Pre-k families will receive offer letters in early June, as per the Department of Education timeline. Pre-registration will be in June.
