Flushing, New York 11367 is a PreK - 8, general education NYC public school. The school occupies a building on the Queens College campus. We are now accepting lottery applications for the 2014-2015 school year for Pre-k students and, if seats are available and students meet promotional criteria for the selected grade, for grades 1 to 6. Kindergarten admissions is through the DOE application process.
Queens College School for Math, Science, and Technology, PS/IS
499, is a partnership of families, educators, and the Queens College community. Innovative curricula and teaching methods are explored here and College faculty, undergraduates, and graduate students are found in the classrooms, observing or participating in instruction.
Busing is provided based on the guidelines of the NYCDOE Office of Pupil Transportation (OPT) for grades Kindergarten through 6.

All families are required to complete the NYC DOE Kidergarten application.
The application window is from Monday, January 13 through Friday, February 14, 2014. You may apply in one of three ways:

Last day to submit application(s) online is: Tuesday, April 01, 2014 by 3:00 PM

The selection process for grades 1 - 6 will take place early
April; families will be notified in early May.
Pre-k families will receive offer letters in early June,
as per the
Department of Education timeline. Pre-registration will be in June.
